Join AMINA and Mount Carleton Provincial Park for a special  experience!

This program is perfect for first-time campers who want to build confidence and learn the essentials of camping in Canada. Over 24 hours, NB Parks Learn-to-Camp Ambassadors will guide participants through hands-on workshops and outdoor activities.

You'll learn about:

🏕️ Campsite selection and set-up

🌿 Leave No Trace camping and environmental respect

🌦️ Weather preparedness

🔥 Camping safety

🍳 Outdoor cooking and safe stove use

💧 Safe drinking water, meal planning, food preparation and storage🎒 Camping gear and clothing essentials

✅ All camping equipment is provided. Participants only need to bring their own food and clothing. A detailed packing list and itinerary will be shared before the event.

⚠️ Spaces are limited. Priority will be given to participants who have been in Canada for less than one year.
