Climate

Saint-Quentin and Kedgwick enjoy a humid continental climate, characterized by

cold winters and moderately warm summers. They offer a diverse climate, perfect

for those who appreciate the four distinct seasons and year-round outdoor

activities. Here is an overview of the climatic conditions of the two regions.

Winter
December to February

Winters in our communities are cold and snowy. Temperatures can drop well below zero, often reaching -15°C, or even colder during periods of extreme cold. Snow is abundant, creating a magnificent winter landscape that is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts.

Spring
March to May

Spring arrives slowly, with cool temperatures at the beginning

of the season. In March, temperatures remain around 0°C, but they gradually rise in April and May. The days become longer and milder, and the first flowers begin to appear, marking the end of the harsh winter.

Summer
June to August

Summers are moderate, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C, but they can sometimes reach 30°C on the hottest days. The summer months are ideal for enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and camping, thanks to sunny and pleasantly warm days.

Autumn
September to November

Autumn in our region is a pleasant season, with temperatures ranging between 10°C and 15°C in September and October. The autumnal colors of the forest, with the changing leaves, make it an ideal time to explore nature. November marks the return of cold weather, with temperatures gradually dropping toward winter.
